27 September 2022.
RSPCA, Dogs Trust and the Blue Cross join the call for an end to greyhound racing in the UK and for a 5 year phase-out to ensure dogs are safely re-homed.
Campaigners from CHDT are relieved these organisations have joined forces with other charities asking the UK government to finally end to greyhound racing.
Brighton & Hove City Council please revoke the Coral Greyhound Stadium licence and stop supporting animal cruelty in the great ethical city of Brighton & Hove.
Every week at the Coral Brighton & Hove Greyhound stadium at least two dogs fall, sustain long-term injuries and some have died.
10,000 dogs are removed from the racing every year as more are bred for the gambling industry.
Dogs are exported outside of the UK for breeding and racing, killed as surplus to requirements or languish in isolation in kennels for the rest of their lives.
No dog should be injured or lose its life for entertainment.
The land on Nevill Road could be used for much-needed affordable housing or used as an area that would benefit the local community.
Read why the RSPCA, Dogs Trust and Blue Cross are calling for an end to greyhound racing and agree tougher monitoring and regulation just isn't working.
Join CHDT Track demos/outreach stalls. Sign the NEW CHDT petition.
TAKE ACTION - End Greyhound Racing NOW.
